1941 Washington Senators Team Signed Baseball with Clark Griffith on Sweet Spot

1941 Washington Senators Team Signed Baseball with Clark Griffith on Sweet Spot

The last baseball season prior to the outbreak of World War II saw the team in the nation's capitol produce a less-than-sparkling 70-84 record, but this team-signed baseball is a winner in every way, highlighted by Hall of Fame owner Clark Griffith, Cooperstown colleague Bucky Harris, who managed the club, and Cecil Travis, who paced the American League in hits that season. The ball grades 8/10 overall. A rare ball, the likes of which we haven't come across in decades.
