1954-55 Santruce Program w/ Roberto Clemente & Willie Mays

1954-55 Santruce Program w/ Roberto Clemente & Willie Mays

Volume 1 #1 First ever unscored program in High Grade. Very unique program from the Puerto Rico baseball team of Santruce which featured the outfield of the reigning NL MVP and World Series Champion Willie Mays, and a future Hall of Famer named Roberto Clemente. As expected, Mays lit the league up and helped Santruce win the championship. Interestingly enough the MVP of the league's Caribbean Series was neither Mays nor Clemente, but rather another future star, Don Zimmer. After the winter season, Mays left and never returned, Clemente started his MLB HOF career with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Don Zimmer won the 1955 World Series with the Dodgers.
