1960s University of Cincinnati Basketball Collection
It may surprise some that the University of Cincinnati men's basketball team is one of the Top 20 winningest programs in NCAA history. And from the Bearcats' glory years of 1958-63, when they fashioned an insane 161-16 record, feast your eyes on this exceptional collection, which includes: a 1961-62 team presentation photo that measures 11x14", a 1961-62 wooden plaque with team photo, facsimile signatures and statistics, a letterman's sweater from player Jerry Cousins with an LOA from him, a 1961-62 Varsity Basketball certificate awarded to player Dale Heidotting, a large award blanket given to 1961-62 team captain Paul Hogue (comes with an LOA from Hogue stating he was the only one to receive a blanket like this one), who was an All-American and MVP of the NCAA Championship game. There are also several pins, pennants and promotional publications, with the overall condition of the contents being EX. The pins and pennants have some glue stains on the backs.
