1985 Wade Boggs Game Worn Jersey
From the first of his twelve consecutive All-Star seasons is this white "home" jersey worn by the legendary third bagger. A superstitous man by nature, Wade seemed to have grown quite attached to this particular gamer judging by its extraordinary use. The neck facing is toned from sweat and field markings can be seen throughout with a concentration on the right sleeve. Sewn to the chest is "Red Sox" in red on blue tackle twill and on the reverse is his number "26". Tagged in the collar "Wilson [size] 42" and affixed with a white knit year plate chain-stitched, "85", in black thread. A superior Boggs game used specimen.
