1986 Kirby Puckett Game Used Jersey and Pants

1986 Kirby Puckett Game Used Jersey and Pants

All Star centerfielder Kirby Puckett played his entire major league career with the Minnesota Twins, and wore this jersey during the 1986 season when he won a Gold Glove, a Silver Slugger and was selected to play on the American League All Star team. The V-neck pullover double knit jersey has Puckett's number 34 (since retired by the Twins) on both front and back in red-on-navy tackle twill; Puckett's nameplate is sewn across the back with lettering in red tackle twill. There is a Wilson size 44 label in the collar and a patch reading "86 2" on the front left tail. The left sleeve sports a Twins patch while the right sleeve has a Twins 25th Anniversary patch. There is red, white and blue trim at the cuffs and neckline, and this perfect Puckett jersey shows nice game use. The pants were worn by Puckett in 1985; they are the same fabric and trim as the jersey. There is a Wilson size 33 label in the waistband next to a "24 85 2 25" patch. Number 34 is written in green marker next to the Wilson label. Great memento of Kirby Puckett, yet another major league favorite gone way too soon.
