1986 Tom Barrasso Ice Hockey World Championships Game Worn Jersey

1986 Tom Barrasso Ice Hockey World Championships Game Worn Jersey

This game worn jersey comes from the 1986 Ice Hockey World Championships and was donned by wunderkind goaltender Tom Barrasso. Two years earlier, Barrasso became the first goalie to ever play in the NHL directly out of high school, and also in 1984 became the youngest player ever to win the Vezina Trophy. Barrasso won two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins and was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009. This all-original jersey shows nice use with stick/puck marks on the front and red goal post paint on the back of the sleeves, with a rip at the "V" on the collar. There is a "USA" crest on the front with AGFA patches on both sleeves. "BARRASSO" is sewn on a plate on the back with the number "30" below and and both sleeves, along with an Adidas tag in the collar.
