Baltimore Orioles Folk Art Painted Baseballs (2)

Baltimore Orioles Folk Art Painted Baseballs (2)

Obviously George Sosnak influenced, hence a future great? Shortly before the St. Louis Browns became the Baltimore Orioles in 1954, artist Doc Werner beautifully illustrated these handsome, toned baseballs with depictions of players and logos from Orioles teams when they played in the International League. The first features depictions of career minor league infielder Roy Hartsfield, another unidentified player, the team logo and "1952." The paintings are in EX condition. The second is a 1951 Official International League baseball signed by 17 Orioles players (6/10) across two panels, one of which is painted with the team logo and "Baltimore Orioles, Stick With Those Birds." This one is unsigned by the artist but is consistent with Werner's style and is EX.
