New York Yankees Single Signed Baseballs with Ruth, DiMaggio and Mantle (37)
Here come the Yankees! This is a simply magnificent collection compiled by one collector, and each of the items features the Bronx Bombers, including some very desirable ones. Nearly all are on official American League baseballs and there are only a few duplicates. Among the highlighted pieces: Babe Ruth on a circa 1934 official American League ball (VG) with a light signature on the side panel. It is personalized and rates 2.5/10. There are also two featuring Mickey Mantle, one with a light spot but is otherwise NRMT and the other a game-used ball with a strong 8/10 signature. There are two of Joe DiMaggio, one being vintage (1970s) on a side panel of a toned baseball, while the other is on the sweet spot of a toned baseball (both signatures are 7/10). Another really tough one in the collection is Sad Sam Jones (EX), who died in 1966. Also included here are: Berra, Gomez, Rizzuto (personalized), Grim, Carey, Torre, Kubek, Arroyo, Ford, Dickey, Noren, Roettger, Turley, Bauer, Sheldon, and many more. Overall, the baseballs are EX and the signatures average 7/10.
