Official Program and Ticket Stubs for Last Brooklyn Dodgers Game (1957)

Official Program and Ticket Stubs for Last Brooklyn Dodgers Game (1957)

Back in 1957 there were plenty of angry New Yorkers over the fact that their beloved Brooklyn Dodgers were moving out to LA. For those of you still nostalgic over that move which changed the face of Major League Baseball, this is the lot for you. The scorecard and program are from the Philles, but when you look at the scorecard it chronicles that last game the Dodgers played as the team from Brooklyn. The condition is EX-MT with no tears or wrinkles of any kind and great tonal quality for a 50 year old program. The inside scorecard has torn away from the staple binding but is present and has been neatly scored in pencil. The ticket stubs (VG) are dated April 16 and Sept 29, 1957 marking the first and last games of the season played against the Dodgers the last year they called Ebbets Field home.
