Rare 1975 Muhammad Ali v. Chuck Wepner Fight Pennant

Rare 1975 Muhammad Ali v. Chuck Wepner Fight Pennant

When Chuck Wepner entered the ring at the Cleveland Coliseum on March 24, 1975, to face World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali, the "Bayonne Bleeder" was a decided underdog. It was a one-sided fight, but Wepner's enduring performance inspired the creation of the Rocky movies. Ali finally won by TKO in the 15th round. Offered here is an exceptionally rare, original souvenir pennant for this event, entitled "Give The White Guy A Break" on blue felt and affixed to a board. There are pinholes in the corners and some slight fading, measures 26.5" long and you will not find a better one, if you can find one at all.
