Tris Speaker Signed and Framed Baseball Magazine Premium
While Tris Speaker admires his drive, you can admire this vintage Baseball Magazine premium of the Hall of Fame centerfielder, which he signed. Speaker is wearing a Red Sox uniform, dating the image to around 1912, the year Boston won its first World Series title. His right foot kicks up dirt as he pivots, but the 10 by 18-inch picture takes an otherworldly turn as the frame moves up, transforming him into a silhouette frozen in time and space. A few scratches and tears but none on the prized autograph. The photo is protected by glass casing wedged into a handsome wood frame, so his handwriting, "Tris Speaker With Best Wishes" remains as crisp (8-9/10) as his starched flannel jersey.
