Whitey Bulger Prison ID

Whitey Bulger Prison ID

An oddity of Americana, this credit card-style vending card was issued by the Federal Bureau of Prisons to famed convict, Whitey Bulger. Captured in 2011 after more than a decade on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list, it bears his given name (James), photograph, ID number and personal attributes. Standing at a slight 5'9", his legend includes racketeering as well as 19 murders, while also implicating the FBI in protecting him while he was a fugitive. Obtained from spurious source, the plastic card is about 2x3.5" and is in NM condition.
