1960s Oscar Robertson Cincinnati Royals Shooting Shirt

1960s Oscar Robertson Cincinnati Royals Shooting Shirt

This shooting shirt was worn by one of the greatest players in basketball history, Oscar Robertson, on the court while warming up prior to games. In the patriotic plumage of red, white, and blue, the warm-up is in beautiful condition and shows use. On the front is "ROYALS" sewn on in white on red tackle twill. There is a zipper at the neck that still works and remnants of tagging in the collar that are frayed and faded so they cannot be read. Above the tag in black laundry marker is the identifier "O," which is all that is needed to know that this was worn by the man who has become synonymous with the letter. Robertson took this shooting shirt home after the season and it sources from his own personal collection.
