2002 Barry Bonds Game Used Sam Bat (34")
This cracked Bonds bat only proves that he's human, after all. Given that Bonds rarely gets to swing at balls between being walked, and the square contact on the barrelhead she always seems to make, this 31 oz. Rideau Crusher "Sam Bat" nearly shattered by a mis-hit on the handle is a welcome contrast to the picket fence of implacable Bonds bats on the market. Not that it doesn't also have a plethora of ball markings smack on the sweet spot, mind you. The maple Crusher has a black barrel and dark brown handle, from which tape has been removed. The ghost-like "Sam Bat" logo is in gold as are 2 stripes around the middle part. "BB" is handwritten in black on the knob and the date "6/18/02" is written in the hollowed-out barrel top with other stats. A real rarity.
