Hair from Alysheeba's Mane

Hair from Alysheeba's Mane

Obtained in person from our consignor is tail hair from Alysheba, the thoroughbred racehorse that won two legs of the Triple Crown in 1987. A success story which warrants a movie, as a three-year-old, he underperformed in his preparatory races for the Kentucky Derby until it was discovered that he had an entrapped epiglottis. Surgery was successful, and he was entered in the Derby despite having only a maiden victory, and won. He only lost the Triple Crown because they wouldn't let him have his medication. Make an attractive display with a photo signed by the photographer, Tony Leonard. Measures 12x15" and NRMT.
