Rumored to have taken a dive, Jack Johnson is seen on this postcard with his back to the canvas with the behemoth Willard standing over him. On the back of the card is an eye witness account of the fight in Havana. A choice line from the letter says, “Johnson lost his smile in the 18th round.” A great piece from one of the most controversial fighters in boxing history.
