Ty Cobb Slides Into Third Signed Photo
This is the seminal Ty Cobb photo with the Hall of Famer creating his usual havoc on the basepaths. It was snapped by Charles Conlon for a sports magazine and Cobb signed and dated it 5/27/49. The signature rates a solid 9 out of 10 and there is a small crease in the upper left corner and a faint center crease from being mailed (technical VG condition). Cobb was a whirling dervish on the bases, and he was always rounding them thanks to his unreal .366 lifetime batting average and 892 steals, including a record 54 swipes of home.
