Ingenious George Sosnak painted ball featuring an action picture of Willie Mays as he swings through the ball. Mays was named the MVP as the NL edged the AL 1-0 in the ’68 mid-season classic played at the Houston Astrodome, July 9, 1968. The ball includes a beautiful painting of the outside of the Astrodome and the complete box score from the 39th All-Star Game. Hall of Famers in this game include Drysdale, Marichal, Bench, Seaver, Carlton, Aaron, McCovey, Mantle, Yaz, Killebrew and Carew.
